1 in 2 people will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. This means that almost all of us will be affected by cancer in some way, whether directly or indirectly. That is why it is so important that the Suffolk and North East Essex Cancer Strategy reflects the needs of our whole population. Suffolk & North East Essex Integrated Care System (SNEE ICB) are committed to working with people and communities to understand what good cancer services need to look and feel like for them.
Within the SNEE Cancer Strategy Engagement Plan SNEE ICB use a range of engagement tools when working with their people & look to hear their thoughts and experiences of their cancer journey. All conversations seek to understand the experience of the person with the cancer diagnosis, the family and friends of that person and the workforce delivering the services. To help SNEE ICB to do this they invite people to join them at patient engagement forums, the next one will be on ‘Treatment’.
