Action for Family Carers are looking for a passionate and skilled Communications and Impact Manager to lead their marketing and communications. You will join the charity at a critical time as Action for Family Carers significantly expand the services to unpaid family carers. In this new role, you will lead and shape Action for Family Carer’s communication strategies and be a key player in conveying their mission, engaging with supporters, and showcasing the impact of Action for Family Carers services.

About Action for Family Carers:

Action for Family Carers is a well-established Essex-based charity dedicated to supporting unpaid carers and young carers, making a positive impact for over 30 years.

About You:

You have at least 18 months experience in a similar communications role and be well versed in creating and managing website and social media content and email campaigns. You are equally well-versed in analysing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data and extracting relevant insights to create compelling communications. You value a supportive workplace, seeking job satisfaction and a chance to make a real difference. Motivated and driven, you’re comfortable working solo or as part of a team. You’re adaptable under pressure, are an excellent planner and multi-tasker and possess exceptional communication skills with demonstrable and practical experience of writing compelling content.
