Do you have difficulty accessing public transport?

Community360 provides community transport in Colchester, Chelmsford and Maldon. The Scheme improves the transport provision for people in the local community who have limited mobility or who would otherwise be socially excluded or geographically isolated.

Our Community Transport offers low cost travel to
help people get where they want to go

Our community transport is a vital link in our community and we offer a number of travel options to both individuals and groups.

Our door to door service is here to help you get to and from doctor, dental and hospital appointments, medical centres and encourages visits to therapy, friends and relatives, learning opportunities and much more.

Additionally we have a range of popular excursions offering the opportunity for members to meet new people, enjoy good health and wellbeing and reduce isolation.

Some people have really
enjoyed using our service

Life would be unthinkable without the support of Community360. We can go out, particularly to doctor and hospital appointments, without having to worry about getting there and back. We would be paying double in taxi fares which is extortionate. We also appreciate the social outings which are on offer. We would be lost without C360 and life would be very difficult.
The volunteer drivers were excellent and got us there and back safely through very difficult traffic conditions. We were very grateful for their help and company.
Without the excursions I wouldn’t get to go out. It is nice catching up with everyone once a week and having a meal out.
Thank you to all the drivers and staff at Community360 for the great services they provided so kindly.

David Gillespie has volunteered for 14 years with C360, and it not only keeps him active and connected but he gets a real sense of reward from putting something back into the community.

“I really wanted to help those who were isolated and as I enjoyed driving this was the perfect role for me!” Said David.  “For those who cannot use traditional forms of transport and for those who would otherwise be house bound, it is rewarding and satisfying that my help gives them an opportunity to get ‘out and about’. Community360’s infrastructure, support and training are excellent, and I would both encourage and recommend volunteering as it is the most worthwhile and enjoyable activity.”
