Importance of the Conference:
Globally, involving patients in safety efforts is gaining traction. This year’s WPSD theme, “Engaging Patients for Patient Safety,” aligns seamlessly with our event. Patient Safety Partners (PSPs), which include patients, carers, and lay people, are central to patient safety discussions and governance.
What to expect?
- Kick-off with Dr. Henrietta Hughes OBE, England’s Patient Safety Commissioner.
- Hear from Rachel Hearn, the NHSE East of England Executive Nurse.
- Engage directly with MSE ICS PSPs and learn from their experiences.
- Participate in group discussions to delve deeper into patient safety roles.
