This empowering event is a call to action for diverse women of Colchester to assemble for International Women’s Day. The Assembly is a gathering of incredible women from all walks of life. Come and be inspired by powerful mini-talks, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and connect with like-minded individuals who believe in the strength of women. Let’s show the world what women can do…

Activities include: Long Table Talks and Discussions | Art, Movement, Music and Dance | Workshops | Interactive Displays | Venting Room | Healing Room

Organised by Women Assemble, a new collective of diverse women in Colchester. This event is supported by Essex Cultural Diversity and the Eye of Boudicca and funded by Colchester City Council Cultural and Creative Events Fund.

Women Assemble to explore healing, self-care and self-expression through drop-in workshops, discussions, and activities

12.30 – 14.00 | PART TWO | ASSEMBLY

Women will be invited to connect and share some nourishing soup at the Long Table, followed by mini-talks, soap-box shoutouts and discussion.

14.00 – 16.00 | PART THREE | JOIN THE MOVEMENT!
