New volunteering research
New research by Human Appeal has found people from ‘BAME’ backgrounds are more likely to volunteer than other groups in the population.
A recent survey by British Heart Foundation also found that Generation Z are more likely to want to volunteer than any other age group.
However, the cost-of-living crisis is having a greater effect on both of these groups and making it harder for them to volunteer.
