Can you help spare a few hours a week as a volunteer driver? Community Transport provides a vital service in the Colchester and Chelmsford Boroughs and Braintree District, transporting members to and from medical appointments.
We are receiving regular calls from members of the community who are facing large taxi fares or are unable to travel by taxi at peak times due to high demand who cannot attend these very important appointments leaving them at risk and feeling unvalued to society.
Our transport scheme offers an affordable safe way for people to travel but we need more drivers to be able to do this. Last year our drivers made over 42,000 trips! Can you be part of this team of fantastic people?
