Community Transport driver Tony Charters has been awarded our Star Employee for April-June. Tony was nominated for all of the extra work he’s been putting in to make trips out more accessible by making changes to one of our minibuses to accommodate larger wheelchairs.
He was especially thanked by Bupa UK (Colonia Court Care Home) for driving their residents on day trips. The adaptations that Tony has made to his minibus has enabled the residents , some of whom have not been able to get out for years, to finally get out and enjoy themselves. Well done, Tony – literally changing lives!
