Mid and North East Essex Mind, the local mental health charity, will be launching a free Suicide Bereavement Support Group in April, to help those affected by the suicide of a loved one.

The death of someone we love and care for is difficult, but when that death is due to suicide, it brings added complexities. It can be isolating as there are often
unanswered questions, feelings of guilt or anger, which can prevent us from moving through the grieving process.
Mid and North East Essex Mind offer support to those who feel that joining a group could be beneficial. This group welcomes anyone affected by suicide, whether they are family members
or friends.

The group will run for six sessions, every first Wednesday of the month starting from 3 April. The sessions will start at 6.30pm and end at 8pm at Mid and North East Essex Mind’s Colchester office at The Constantine Centre, 272a Mersea Road, Colchester, CO2 8QZ.

The Suicide Bereavement Support Group is free, but spaces must be booked in advance, either by emailing enquiries@mnessexmind.org or calling 01206 764600.
