A new Sporting Memories club will be running from Friday 22 September 2023 at the Fusion Leisure Centre in Witham.
The new club will meet every Friday between 10:30am and 12:30pm at Witham Leisure Centre Spinks Lane, Witham, CM8 1EP.
The club, run by the Sporting Memories charity, uses the power of remembering and talking about sport alongside physical activity to support older people aged 50+ to live better lives, including those living with dementia, depression, or living in isolation and lonely circumstances.
Everyone who attends gets the opportunity to share their stories, take part in a weekly session that ignites old memories through photographs and quizzes, and get active again with a range of fun games and inclusive exercises.
