On Tuesday 3rd October Braintree District Museum welcomed HRH The Duke of Gloucester to commemorate the 30th birthday of the Museum.
To commemorate the 30th birthday of the museum in Manor Street, Braintree and the formal opening of the new Warner & Sons Gallery, the Duke met staff, trustees and volunteers and signed a special visitors’ book. Robert Rose, Museums Manager of Braintree District Museum Trust was “thrilled” by the visit, which saw the Duke look around the Victorian Manor Street School buildings
