These awards are open to individuals who reside in Essex.
What to consider when nominating someone:
- Individuals, who give their time and effort unselfishly, either by caring for others, or raising funds for worthwhile causes.
- Adults and children who have managed to achieve in life, despite adversity. The achievements may be as simple as qualifying to attend regular school, despite having spent a great deal of time undergoing treatment in hospitals, or as outstanding as appearing in the Paralympics.
The winners will all receive recognition by way of a cheque as well as a coveted trophy, the money awarded may be kept by the individual or donated to the charity of their choice.
