  1. Details about England’s Chief Medical Officer’s visit to Clacton to formally launch the Turning the Tide programme.  This includes a recorded interview with Professor Bola Owolabi, Director of Health Inequalities at NHS England who was also at the event;
  2. A multi-million pound fund has been established to improve health equality and to better support people at risk of poor health and early death across Suffolk and north east Essex;
  3. Topping out work at the site of the new orthopaedic centre has been hailed ‘a historic milestone’;
  4. A series of ‘taking care of yourself’ factsheets has been produced to help people living with long term conditions stay well.
