Colchester United have recently started a new walking football session for anyone over 50 on Friday lunchtimes between 12pm-1pm.

Walking football is open to anyone over the age of 50, is suitable for all fitness and endurance levels and is a great way to make new friends and meet new people. Walking football is a fantastic way to improve your health and wellbeing and can help to play a role in weight loss and improvement of cardiovascular fitness. It can also help to reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases such as; heart disease or type 2 diabetes.
