LGBTQ+ Training Lead
The OutHouse is seeking to recruit an experienced trainer to lead and deliver our LGBTQ+ training programs. If you have a passion for LGBTQ+ equality, excellent organisation and communication skills, and experience in delivering engaging training sessions, they would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
-Deliver The Outhouse’s existing LGBTQ+ awareness modules to a variety of clients including healthcare workers, educational settings and private organisations. This could be in person or remotely depending on client needs.
– Monitor, update and improve training modules to ensure the provision is always of a high standard and remains relevant.
-Create necessary resources for training sessions, and collaborate with colleagues to design and create complimentary online resources.
-Work with admin team to organise availability and schedule sessions with clients.
Desirable Skills and Experience
– Experience in delivering excellent training to a variety of organisations
-Experience in developing training modules that are engaging, relevant and adaptable to suit different audiences.
-Ability to differentiate and adapt delivery to suit different learning styles.
-Driving licence and a willingness to travel (Essex, potentially Suffolk), to deliver in person training.
-Strong knowledge of LGBTQ+ identities and barriers that LGBTQ+ people face.
-Sound administration skills and good level of computer literacy.
