The Hilden Charitable Fund has recently reopened its UK funding programme and is now accepting applications. The fund is offering grants ranging from £5,000 to £7,000 and focuses on two key areas:
- Asylum Seekers and Refugees: The fund is interested in supporting projects that provide essential services to asylum seekers and refugees, aiming to facilitate their integration into the broader community.
- Penal Affairs: The fund aims to fund projects that involve organizations working within prisons to provide support and assistance to prisoners, particularly women. The goal is to help them cope, maintain family bonds, and enhance their ability to reintegrate positively into society upon release. The fund also encourages applications for projects that focus on post-release support, promoting successful resettlement and reducing the likelihood of reoffending.
The deadline for applications is 4pm on the 7th July 2023, and decisions are typically made within a timeframe of 10 to 12 weeks.
