Talking about Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)
In this month’s Hidden Voices episode, we talked to our latest Trauma Ambassador, Valerie, who is an anti-FGM campaigner. Valerie experienced FGM as a teenager and has gone on to set up her own organisation to help other women and girls who have experienced gender based violence. She shared how FGM affected her relationships with family and the impact on her pregnancies.
