Healthwatch Essex are looking for people who live in west Essex to share their experience of the menopause and/or perimenopause. They would like to find out how the menopause/perimenopause affects them and how they access support/advice.
Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB-Integrated Care Board have asked Healthwatch Essex to gather lived experience and feedback regarding people’s journey through the menopause and/or perimenopause. What advice/support have you accessed and has it been helpful? How did you find that advice/support etc?
The NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is the local NHS organisation that plans and oversees how NHS money is spent and makes sure health services work well and are of high quality. The ICB’s role is to join up health and care services, improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities. They have a budget of around £2.8 billion, for the 1.5 million people who live in this area. The budget is set by NHS England.
Local residents have a big role to play in the operation of the ICB. They rely on the experiences and perspectives of our communities to help shape their decision-making. Your experience of the system can give us vital, real-life insight – and can help make a difference.
