An update on NCVO’s influencing work, government policy and funding announcements.

Charity sector election manifesto

NCVO are working with ACEVO to develop a manifesto ahead of the next general election. The manifesto will set out a clear vision for society and the role of charities and volunteers in achieving it.

They will use the manifesto to speak to different political parties, including at party conferences this year.

So far feedback has been gathered from members at three events which will be used to draft the manifesto with ACEVO over the summer.

Later in the year workshops will be held to gather more feedback. NCVO will also be offering practical support on what you can do in the run up to a general election.
