Active Essex aims to improve health and wellbeing by promoting physical activity. They have a great activity finder where you are able to search for local activities in your area either free of charge or for a small cost. You can search for activities on the link below:

Park Play offer active and inclusive play for all generations in your local park. They run many free sessions throughout the UK. In Essex they run multiple sessions in the North and South of the district. Take a look at the link below for further information:

Epping Forest Council have a list of activities being held over the Summer, some are free of charge whilst others incur a fee. Play in the park are free sessions aimed for families to play games and have fun outdoors. These sessions are being held in various locations throughout the West of the district. Play in the Park (PitP) are a series of free two-hour multi activity sessions for children at community and parish venues in the Chelmsford area. These sessions are free of charge and give children the opportunity to play, create and take part in fun sports sessions, craft activities and games. Further details are listed here:

Park Run is a free community event where you can walk, jog or run 5km on a Saturday morning. They even hold Junior Park Run events on a Sunday morning for 4-14year olds and their families to walk, jog or run 2km. Park Run is positive, welcoming, and inclusive.
