Not-for-profit organisations working with children and young people aged 18 or under can apply for grants of up to £40,000 per year for up to three years to support their core costs such as management and administration, HR, monitoring, evaluation and learning, etc. The funding is being made available through BBC Children in Need’s Core Cost programme and will support eligible organisations within the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man, or the Channel Islands. Whilst the programme prioritises smaller, local organisations, exceptions are made for certain cases. Organisations with an annual turnover exceeding £1 million can still apply if they fall into categories such as hospices (including children’s hospices), housing associations, or if their work has a nationwide or UK-wide impact. There is no closing date and applications can be made at any time.
