Adventures in the music business: an author talk
Kate Bush, Thin Lizzy, the Stones, the Carpenters – just a few of the musicians Brian Southall has worked with. At Chelmsford Library, on the evening of Thursday 21 March, he’ll be giving a talk about his eventful forty-year career, as detailed in his book ‘Bull & Bush’. Tickets are just £5 (plus booking fee) and refreshments will be provided.
How to write that gay script
Budding LGBTQIA+ writers have a golden opportunity to hone their craft when a top professional in multi-media, Rikki Beadle-Blair, hosts a workshop at Harlow Library on 16 March, at 1pm.

Temporary opening hours at Saffron Walden Library
Until 5 April, Saffron Walden Library will open at 10am Monday to Friday to allow for essential building works. Saturday opening is unaffected.
We aim to reopen fully as soon as possible. Updates will be posted on our social media channels.
