First Start Training are working in collaboration with the ‘Colte Partnership,’ and have secured NHS funding to offer ‘FREE Fully Funded’ 2 hour parenting first-aid training sessions for parent/grandparents and carers of children from birth to 4 years.
These sessions are open to ‘Registered Patients’ at GP Practices who are run by the Colte Partnership – please see below:
Ambrose Avenue Group Practice, Ardleigh Surgery, Colne Medical Centre, Mersea Island Medical Centre, Riverside Medical Centre, Rowhedge & University of Essex Medical Centre, Walton Medical Centre, Wivenhoe Medical Centre and Tiptree Medical Centre
The sessions cover CPR, Choking, Treatment of minor cuts/grazes/bumps/bruises/burns & scalds and sepsis recognition
