As part of the Multiply programme, Enable East are delivering free sessions to groups in local communities across Essex.
These free sessions look at the practical position that participants might be in in relation to their finances, taking time to consider how they make them feel. Recognising that people’s levels of confidence will directly impact their ability to cope with more challenging situations.
Activity focuses on things such as budgeting, signposting to support services, wellbeing and building tools to feel confident about managing household incomes. Participants have found these sessions enlightening, with many leaving having learnt a number of things they can do straight away to make them feel more in control of their finances..

The sessions are delivered in the community, and the groupwork is followed up by 1:1 calls with each participant to offer bespoke support and signposting. Enable East work with organisations and networks who have small groups wishing to participate. All materials required are provided by Enable East and participants receive a £10 shopping voucher once they have completed their follow up session.
The feedback has been fantastic with 100% of those who have attended saying that they would recommend the course to others!
