Demystifying end of life care for friends and family, is a series of free awareness sessions for your community group, club or network, aimed at providing the knowledge, guidance and practical skills to help people care well for others.
These informative and interactive sessions are for anyone, especially those who are – or could become – a caregiver for friends or family experiencing life-limiting illness.
Topics covered by an experienced nurse include: Understanding incurable or life-limiting illness, using the significant care tool, advance care planning options, and being alongside a person the last phase of life.
Between 1 and 5 sessions are available depending on the groups learning preferences. The introductory session will identify if more sessions are needed.
You can now book a free awareness training visit for your community group, cub or network if anyone you know is, or could become, a caregiver for family or friends experiencing incurable or life limiting illness.
