Our outstanding work at the One Colchester Community Hub has been recognised in the ‘Bringing Communities Together Award Category’
We are proud to have created a warm, welcoming space where a cross section of the community can access advice, friendship and opportunities. A community space open to all. In the last year alone there has been more than 15,000 visits made to the Hub with 6400 hours of staff and volunteer time.
Through the collective efforts of partnership working the space has been co-designed by local people, volunteers, public and voluntary organisations to create a space which welcomes all ages, and all cultures. From family and cultural activities to health and wellbeing, arts and crafts or just a safe place for a chat and advice.
The One Colchester Hub is a hive of activity, continuing to reflect and build on its priority to provide a place where everyone can belong,
