Our lovely Community Transport team were happy to be able to help some travellers get to a Help for Heroes activity weekend in East Mersea.
The passengers were travelling by train between London and Marks Tey Station and were having difficulties booking accessible transport for the last part of their journey. Our drivers stepped in and arranged to pick them up on Friday afternoon to go to Essex Outdoors in Mersea and then return on Sunday afternoon.
They all had a lovely weekend, and we were glad to be able to play a small part in helping them get there.
