Local charities and groups are invited to apply for new grants to make a difference in their communities.
The All In Alliance groups, created by Eastlight Community Homes, are an opportunity for residents to join together and enhance their local neighbourhoods and communities.
This year, the Alliances are encouraging even more community-based organisations to apply for a Community Grant to support their much-needed work.
The £12,000 funding will help to support a variety of groups across Braintree, Witham, Halstead and Colchester. There are three grants available in each area for £1,250, £1,000 and £750.
Residents will be invited to vote for their favourite by attending the next All In Alliance meetings in March.
Last year, the grants supported several local organisations including Halstead Community Fridge, Earls Colne Bellringers, Colchester-based charities Bridgeway Mission and Next Chapter, Witham’s Edith Borthwick School and Braintree Basketball Club.
