Garfield Weston Foundation launches £25 million fund to support the recovery of the UK’s cultural sector from the impact of the COVID-19 crisis.
The new one-off Weston Culture Fund is now open for applications from performing, visual and literary arts organisations, arts centres, independent cinemas and accredited museums and galleries.
The focus of the Fund is on helping those organisations with “restarting, adaptation and programming”.
Applications are accepted from mid- to large-scale cultural organisations that had an annual income of over £500,000 in their pre-COVID-19 audited accounts. Successful applicants will receive between £100,000 and £2 million, depending on the size of the organisation.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on 9 November 2020.
