ONLINE Reflective Practice

Aim and Overview

The skill of reflection is one that can be beneficial to so many areas in life: problem solving; critical analysis; managing mental health and developing resilience; and professional development to name but a few. It helps us to ‘think on purpose’. This 2-hour online course explores reflective practice in greater depth, looking at the theoretical models and methods that can be used to support the practice and applying it to situations that you may come across in your life.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the purpose, benefits and challenges of reflective practice​​
  • Analyse some reflective writing for effectiveness​​
  • Apply some methods and models of reflective practice to different contexts

About the Trainer

With 15 years teaching experience in both the private and public sector, Tina Bullen is a strong and fully qualified educator. Tina has a very wide range of experience and knowledge, having worked with just about every type of learner that exists in the workplace, Further Education and Higher Education.

Her subject specialisms include educational theory and English language.
