C360 Training Terms and Conditions as of 2020 

Overview 

When you book onto a C360 Training course, you are making a commitment to attend. This applies to whether you are intending to attend an online course or a face-to-face course. 

Requirements for Online Training 

Before you book an online course, you must make sure you have the correct equipment to access the training. At the time of writing, we use MS Teams to deliver our online courses. Accessing MS Teams is easy. Approximately 3 days ahead of the training date, we will send you a link to the training, which you simply click on to join on the day of training. C360 Training cannot be held responsible if you cannot access the training due to inadequate equipment or IT skillsC360 Training will not provide technical support with your hardware or software. 

In order to access our online courses, you will need: 

  • An email address that you want us to use to send the MS Teams meeting link to.  
  • A suitable device for taking part. Ideally this will be a laptop or desktop computer. 
  • Speakers or headphones so you can hear the training. 
  • A microphone so you can interact with the training. 
  • A camera or webcam so you can be seen at the training. 
  • To download MS Teams onto your device (optional but highly recommended for best experience) 

Optional for some courses: Word, PowerPoint, a printer (if a course requires any of these, it will be stated on the course booking page). 

Payment 

When a booking is made on C360 Training courses, an invoice will be raised. You can pay the invoice by card over the phone or by passing it to the appropriate person/department in your organisation to pay. 

Courses must be paid for in advance of the date of training. In most cases, payment is expected to be made within 14 days of the date of training. Where there are multiple dates of training, the course must be paid in advance of the first date of training. 

If you use a bursary ticket, you must pay your fee in advance of the training, and you must attend. 

Where a free ticket on a course is provided, this does not mean it is free for us to put on. If you book, you must attend. 

Penalties for Non-Attendance/Payment 

C360 Training reserves the right to recover their costs in cases where costs have been accrued and customers have failed to attend. As soon as a space is booked, it attracts a cost to us, and denies others access to a training opportunity. 

You can cancel a booking in writing i.e. usually by email up to 2 weeks before the course date and a refund will be paid, minus a £10 admin fee. A cancellation made with less than 2 weeks’ notice up to the day of training will still require payment and no refund will be issued. 

Substitutions from the same organisation are welcomed for the same course on the same date. 

Should you be unable to attend for any reason then the course fee still remains payable in full and you are not permitted to transfer to alternative courses, dates or locations. 

This applies to each and every situation and circumstance that is beyond our direct control and includes issues that may also be outside the control of the delegate due to attend. This could include, for example but not exclusively: 

  • Adverse weather 
  • Pandemic 
  • IT issues 
  • Transport problems including strike, dispute and failure 
  • Personal issues, both minor and serious 
  • Business issues including staff shortage, other meetings, audit or inspection 

C360 Training reserves the right to refuse bookings from customers who frequently flout these terms and conditions i.e. repeatedly failing to attend courses, not paying invoices, frequently cancelling at short notice. 

Cancellations by C360 Training 

C360 Training reserves the right to withdraw a course at any time. In these circumstances, participants will be offered a full refund or an alternative date. 

Confirmation of Bookings 

You will receive an automated email from the website, acknowledging your booking and shortly afterwards, an invoice. If you don’t get these and after checking your junk inboxcontact us immediately. Where a course is online, approximately 3-7 days ahead of the training date, we will send you a link to the training meeting, which you simply click on to join on the day of training. Again, if you do not receive this, first check your junk inbox, then if you still do not have any communication from us, contact us as soon as possible. 

Data Protection 

Information given on the booking form will be transferred to a database to be used to manage training course administration. Summarised anonymous monitoring information may be passed on to funders. We never pass on your personal details to any other organisation for marketing or any other purposes. 

Our courses are publicised by an e-newsletter. You will be asked via our evaluation form if you wish to receive it or you can subscribe at any time by visiting our website or by emailing us on information@community360.org.uk. If you change your mind, you can opt out by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the foot of each newsletter and any email/postal mailings by informing us in writing.
