Snapping the Stiletto: Campaigning for Equality is a National Lottery Heritage Fund project that aims to find and celebrate the stories of women of all ethnicities, LGBTQ+ individuals, working class women, and women with additional needs and disabilities.
Snapping the Stiletto looking for people to participate in a project they are running with one of their project ambassadors, Nina Tame, an activist and campaigner for equality. They are looking for Disabled women to get involved in the project in two ways:
Oral History Interviewers: You will be trained in how to conduct successful oral history interviews (the next training session will take place online on Wednesday 28 April 2021 from 1pm to 3.30pm, with breaks factored in). You will be provided with recording equipment (or instruction in use of software if you are conducting the interview online) and support from STS throughout. You will be partnered with women to interview and consult with Nina. To get involved please email email@example.com or sign up via our Volunteer Makers site.
Share your story: Snapping the Stiletto are looking for Disabled women with a connection to Essex to share their stories. They are looking for all ranges to get involved, but would particularly like to hear from you if you are an older woman. To share your story please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
