New Funding for Charities and Digital Partners – Short Application Window
26th November 2020 c360admin

Charities and civil society organisations in England are invited to apply for funding to work together on solutions to key challenges that the sector is currently facing, especially those exacerbated by the COVID-19 crisis.

There are 12 challenges that organisations can choose to tackle, divided across four main areas:

  • Mental health and wellbeing:
    • Challenge 1 – Supportive online environments.
    • Challenge 2 – Strengthening approaches for social prescribing.
  • Sexual abuse and domestic violence:
    • Challenge 3 – Effective online counselling services for survivors.
    • Challenge 4 – Creating meaningful connections.
  • Early years:
    • Challenge 5 – Reaching digitally excluded families.
    • Challenge 6 – Creating parent centred signposts.
    • Challenge 7 – Redefining volunteering.
    • Challenge 8 – Supporting Black families.
  • Financial wellbeing:
    • Challenge 9 – Claiming Universal Credit remotely.
    • Challenge 10 – Creating secure documentation sharing for people accessing debt advice.
    • Challenge 11 – Coordinating end-to-end advice to those resolving debt issues.
    • Challenge 12 – Enabling self-serve debt resolution.

Successful applicants will receive grants of between £5,000 and £10,000.

It is expected that the majority of the funding will cover the cost of the digital agency/expert who will work with the civil society organisation on their project, but a proportion of the grant can be retained by the civil society organisation to cover the cost of staff working on the project, and other direct eligible costs associated with it.

The application deadline is 27 November 2020 (11:59pm).
