Essex County Council’s Stop.Swap.GO! campaign aims to encourage long term travel habits towards walking, cycling and using the bus.

Hundreds of people have already joined the 60 Day Challenge designed to motivate participants by setting small daily tasks to achieve.

You can share your progress and travel stories on an app and every week you will be in with a chance to win prizes, just for logging your trip!

There is already lots of activity on social media highlighting the daily achievements and lucky prize winners that are taking part.

The Stop.Swap.GO! campaign also includes a focus on supporting families and young people returning to school in September. The Stop.Swap.GO! website has lots of information to help avoid traffic gridlock by walking and cycling to school or college and includes routes, maps and drop off zones to aid a smoother start to the day.

There’s still plenty time to join the 60 Day Challenge and be in for the chance to win prizes, so register now on the website and follow the campaign on FacebookInstagram and Twitter for updates.
