One of the main findings of the Jack Petchey Foundation’s recent COVID-19 Youth survey was that young people want more work experience and internship opportunities, as one of their greatest concerns for the future is employment prospects in a post-COVID world.
In response to this, the Jack Petchey Foundation has doubled their internship programme in 2021 to support 40 year-long paid internships in the youth sector across London and Essex. The programme is now open for youth organisations working with young people in London and/or Essex to apply for funds to create an internship. Organisations should apply before January 15th via their website.
They would particularly welcome applications from small-to-medium sized youth organisations working with young people in Essex.
