Government admits there has been no formal review into emergency small charity funding

The Government has been accused of breaking a promise over emergency coronavirus funding for small charities, reports Civil Society, after it emerged that no “standalone review” has been conducted into the scheme.

 

In April this year, DCMS (Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport) stated they would “review early learnings” from the £200m Coronavirus Community Support Fund in order to “inform decisions about how to distribute the remaining cash”. Read the full article here.
