Registered charities that specifically support Armed Forces communities can apply for grants of up to £800,000 to meet the mental health needs of veterans across the UK. The funding is being provided by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund’s Veterans’ Places, Pathways and People programme and will fund portfolios of projects which work regionally to provide places of safety, mental health support and treatment pathways for local veterans.

The programme, which is funded through the Veterans’ Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, will award one portfolio grant in each Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland region, and seven grants will be awarded across England regions.

Registered charities supporting Armed Forces communities intending to apply to be a Portfolio Lead must submit their application by the 23rd July 2021.
