Vulnerabilities and Exploitation Training
We are partnering with the Essex Safeguarding Children Board based at Essex County Council to deliver an online training package specifically for any public facing employees. The training package is designed to give awareness and explanation of vulnerabilities for adults and children, covering CSE, signs of exploitation, gangs, county lines, modern slavery, domestic servitude, sexual exploitation, and missing people.
The training will encourage your staff to engage with children and adults and think about their vulnerability. Do they look disorientated or frightened? Unkept, lost or confused? Are they accompanied by some one that doesn’t suit them and are you concerned that they are being controlled? We want to ensure people get the help they need to break the cycle that is controlling their lives.
The training package lasts for 90 minutes and is free of charge.
It is maybe something that can be offered to new employees as part of an induction or to existing employees to widen their knowledge of such subjects?
If this something you would be interested in being involved with and would like to know more then please contact us at business.crime.team@essex.police.uk
