We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications Officer to join our dynamic team. Working alongside the Communications Manager and our Content Editor, you will create and deliver communication activities for the charity ensuring the implementation of MS-UK’s strategic aims for its brand, marketing, information and engagement.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast paced, high energy environment, have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high quality, creative campaigns. You will be an experienced marketing or communications professional (with at least one years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the charity sector) and you will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering successful campaigns that showcase your copy writing flair and attention to detail. A natural with all media channels, you will be able to create images, photos and video for digital channels and have the ability to develop and work to a plan with tight deadlines.
A strong working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Drupal (or similar) and Google Analytics is essential, as well as an understanding of SEO and Google AdWords.

This position is a full time role, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. The role is based at our office in Colchester, Essex and the successful candidate will be required to start as soon as possible.
Salary £21,000 – £23,000 depending on experience.
