23rd November 2017 c360admin

The Colchester Community Safety Partnership (CSP) consists of a number of important organisations in Colchester including Colchester Borough Council,  NHS, Essex Police, Essex Fire and Rescue Service, Community 360, Colchester Borough Homes, the Garrison, Essex Probation and  Essex County Council, who all play a vital role in making Colchester a safer place to live, work and visit.

The CSP’s aim is to work together to reduce crime and disorder in Colchester and in order to do this in 2017-18, a new fund of £10,000 is being made available for partners to bid into, for specific projects and initiatives in line with the CSP’s Strategic Priorities.  Applicants can apply for all or part of the fund.

This will encourage wider partnership involvement and encourage local groups to tackle local problems.

The fund will be open to applications from 1st October 2017 and will be a rolling application process with no deadline.  However, funds may be awarded from December onwards and will need to be allocated by 31st March 2018. Bids will be accepted from individual partners and/or clusters of organisations.  The CSP is encouraging partners to consider working together to tackle these issues.
