Following a successful bid by Colchester Borough Council to the Energy Saving Trust, 25 electric cargo bikes are coming to Colchester.
They will be used by 10 local organisations and 4 Council teams as a sustainable, low cost and environmentally friendly way of delivering goods and services across the borough. There will also be 6 available to local businesses and organisations to borrow for free short-term trials.
Anyone one wanting to trial an eCargo bike must have undertaken Bikeability level 3 training, this is currently being offered for free by Essex County Council until the 1st September. So, if you think your business or organisation might want to trial an eCargo bike when the project is launched please take advantage of this time-limited offer.
If you are interested in trialling an electric cargo bike, then we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this free offer and book your one to one Bikeability level 3 training now.
To book, please email email@example.com and let them know that you would like to be part of the Colchester eCargo bike project. If you are interested in any of the other Bikeability courses for your friends and family you can write to the same email address to book.
