- ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Adviser). Full-time or part-time
We are recruiting an ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Adviser) to join our team; either full time (35 hours a week) or part time (28 hours a week). ISVAs provide emotional and practical support and information to victims and survivors of sexual violence who have reported to the police, or are considering reporting to the police.
Closing Date: 5pm, Tuesday 27th July.
- Information and Referrals Coordinator. Full-time or part-time
We are recruiting an Information and Referrals coordinator to join our team; either full time (35 hours a week) or part time (28 hours a week). The post plays a central role in the CARA team, ensuring that our service users and other agencies receive a high-quality service from the moment of first contact. The position liaises with clients, the team of Synergy First Contact Navigators, the CARA team and external agencies, providing advice, support and information.

- Young Person’s Practitioner. Full-time or part-time
We are recruiting a Young Person’s Practitioner to join our team; either full time (35 hours a week) or part time (28 hours a week). Young Person’s Practitioner’s provide specialist counselling and support to young people (12-19) who have experienced rape, sexual violence or sexual abuse. The role includes wider responsibilities as a member of CARA’s staff team including line-management of sessional or volunteer counsellors and activities to raise awareness of the impact of sexual violence amongst agencies and the wider community.
