Each year Greater Anglia offers a selected number of young people to jump on board to experience working life on the railway. 12-week pre-employment study programme combines qualification with a hands-on placement at one of Greater Anglia’s hub stations. This Pre-employment study programme opportunity is a government-funded initiative, its objective is focused on equipping young people who are currently not in employment, training or education with the skills and experience that employers are looking for.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain work experience and get an insight into one of the country’s leading rail network operators! If you are successful, you will be based at one of Greater Anglia’s hub stations (Chelmsford, Colchester, Cambridge, Norwich, London Liverpool Street and Stansted) alongside experienced colleagues and management who will support and introduce you to the ins and outs of the trade.
