Local communities can apply for grants of up to £10,000 through the Neighbourhood Planning Grant Scheme to develop neighbourhood plans or neighbourhood development orders, addressing matters such as the location of new homes, commercial buildings, and green spaces. The deadline for applications is the 31st January 2023, at 5 pm. Additionally, groups operating in deprived areas and that meet certain conditions may be eligible for additional grants of up to £8,000. In certain circumstances, technical support is also available to help develop plans.
