Music, Smiles and Dancing with the Dance Network Association

The Dance Network Association joined our Active Challenge for July at the One Colchester Community Hub with a fun-filled seated dance class to promote their amazing provision across Essex. From Singing in the Rain to Kung Fu Fighting, the Hub was buzzing with music, smiles, dance and some fun pieces of equipment to dance along with. This session has definitely been a firm favourite across the year with many of our regulars asking for it again!

Our Monthly Active Challenge is part of our Communities Can initiative and gives people the chance to sample different activities that they might not have had the chance to try before or have not done for a while. There is one new activity per month to try! Previous activities have included walking, table tennis, netball, and Afrobeats dance.
