Local authorities and other not-for-profit organisations can apply for capital funding to create, expand and improve youth facilities and services currently on offer to young people in underserved areas of England.
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s Youth Investment Fund – Phase 2, will support the building or refurbishment of up to 300 youth facilities by 2025 that represent value for money, are environmentally sustainable and enable positive activities for young people aged 11–18 (up to 25 for young people with SEND).
Two funding streams are available:
- Refurbishment Grants of up to £150,000,
- Capital Grants of over £150,000.
The deadline for expressions of interest is the 12th May 2023, and the 1st June 2023 respectively.
