Outdoor learning centres in England can apply for grants to provide disadvantaged young people aged 11-18 with outdoor learning experiences that support their development through connections with nature and others. To be eligible for the Adventures Away From Home Fund, organisations must be based in England and hold external quality assurance certification such as LOtC, AALA, or AHEOC Gold Standard. The funding can be used for a full day session or a 2-night residential stay, with no minimum or maximum amount to apply for. This initiative is part of UK Youth’s efforts to draw attention to the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on youth organisations and young people. The closing date for applications is 9am on the 27th February 2023.
