Community Fridge have received a grant from Essex Community Foundation for the purchase of Fleeced Electric Blankets for the vulnerable elderly (over 65s) in the Colchester District of Tiptree and surrounding areas. These are for those who are struggling to heat their homes.
The Community Fridge provides help to Tiptree and surrounding villages with free Fresh, Frozen and non-perishable foods to prevent food waste. They also have an interest in helping residents with the cost of living crisis and ensuring they are helped with the struggles of food and fuel poverty.
