Colchester City Council is holding a programme of pop-up events across the city, offering a ‘one stop shop’ where residents can get information, guidance and support to help with the cost-of-living crisis.
The council’s Employment and Financial and Communities teams will be offering advice on:
- Bringing down your household bills
- Checking you’re receiving all the benefits and discounts you are entitled to
- Advice about employment and training
- Managing any worries about debt
- Ensuring you can access food
- Advice on how to stay warm this winter
- Latest information to help keep your business healthy
- Looking after your physical and mental wellbeing
