ACL news update
Festival of Learning
This week ACL celebrated the achievements of their learners, showcased the wide range of opportunities they offer, and shared the positive impact lifelong learning can have on people’s lives.
They have so many inspiring stories being shared by their staff and learners throughout the year.

On Monday evening, our Vice Principal, Christian Norman was invited to the BBC Essex Rob Jelly show to talk about the benefits of lifelong learning and the fantastic opportunities we have available here at ACL Essex. You can check it out here. (1 hour 7 minutes in)
Nominations for Festival of Learning 2022 awards are now also OPEN! There have been some incredible stories of lifelong learning in lockdown and providers and employers supporting their learners. If you know anyone who deserves to be recognised in these national awards, nominate them here.
ACL Awards 2021
On Wednesday 3rd November we hosted our ACL Awards 2021, recognising the hard work, determination, and commitment from members of our community.
The last 20 months have been a very challenging time for us all which makes these events even more important. We had over 170 nominations and choosing winners was very difficult – everyone is outstanding in their own right.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone for their nominations this year, and those who made this event possible. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our amazing community again next year!
Images from the evening are available to download on our website. You can also view a full list of highly commended and winners, including quotes on this page.
